The absence of light endured

Peer into my eyes you can not see

The decades of treachery

Try to contain this emptiness

This mask is melting away

Searing self hate like a burning sun

Scalding dignity

Breaking down

Rapid decay

No change of redemption

Veins are splayed

Release from anguish

Inner disgrace

Exist in failure

A shell remains

Within descending skies they suffer

Lacerate any chance of happiness

Ulcerate poison all that surrounds

Dedicate my life to hatred

Eradicate the will to endure
