falling from a place of grace

the closest hold just out of reach

visions of a better time haunt my sleep

these tired hands are far too weak

to save this mass of flesh and guilt

boundaries of existence have faded away

suspended in between dimensions

transformation incomplete

my soul has died and hollowed

killed a lamb to save tomorrow

my silence is surrender

i fill the void with sadness

for pain is greater than absence

i’m tired of trying

i am not afraid to face the endless nothing

but i’m terrified that i cant change

what i’m becoming
