The veil of death awaits no more

Into serenity, a life beyond the void

In the shattered world that consumes us all

In this land left in ruin

A temple that fell from the sky

A manifestation of hubris, where men

Lie bereft of their power to die

The order of gold ever-watching

A ceaseless and all-knowing eye

Though Tarnished I stand in the Lands of the Light

I feel their dark whisper inside

Destiny is guiding me to break this chain you laid

As I rise upon the tide of golden grace

I’ll set the Lands ablaze, raise at their heart a crimson flame

After all, I have become the man you made

Consumed by the fires of ambition

Igniting my darkness within

Yet blurring the lines of the truth that I sought

Pulling me deeper beyond realms of thought

I will not cave to the horrors

I will not bow to their call
