Intermezzo Lyrics

The cornucopia.

See how the ears of ram sparkle

With a sun-opener forming a triumvirate

of poetics

with midwinter snow.

The black antechamber

with Helen proud in fascinator

hailing storms of thick viburnum

and a portrait of Shelly with ocean outside.

Helen addresses an audience

with pink cymbidium wrapped around them,

'As you have seen from city to Parthenon

All erects itself and yet returns to dust and fire.

Again and again and again'.

Drunken, I fall upon the field.
