As I gazed into the starless night,

The scent of death foretold a fight.

deeper and deeper into darkness I crept,

among the fallen I stepped.

This winter looks endless, the night seems too long

I am searching for where I belong

Yet I'll keep going, My hopes kept high

Facing death eye to eye

The souls they are sleeping, but slowly awake.

I will not fail and let your heart break.

Sword in my hand and shield clutched tight,

As I'm swallowed away from the light.

I hear the wailing cries of pain,

Echoing from the abyss

I must go on, not to die in vain

My sword, it will not miss
