Alone, I awake, cold sweat pouring down my face. Fractured memories, poison coursing through my veins. Dry blood stain my sheets. Deep sleep, all my dreams are dead. From this bed I rise, full moon burning in my eyes. I feel myself transform, the hunt for blood begins. My conscience fades to nothing, I'm blacking out again. I find my first prey lying beside me. My next two victims were far too easy. This wretched house cleared, now void of human life. Nothing but blood is left of this human buffet. I will kill again. I shall kill once more. So many hearts stopped beating, I've left a trail of blood. My life, like glass, has shattered. I've lost all that I loved. I can't escape my being, this life is all I know. Duality's my nature, reflections of my soul. So many questions answered, so many more to come. A choice now lies before me. Where do I belong? By blade or by the bullet, in this my fate shall lie. I need to end this slaughter, I've earned my right to die.
