POINTLESS CAUSE

On my knees I’m watching death is all around

My heart beats for one last time

My enemies stand upon me

Fueled by hate inside

This is the new reality

We despise each other

We’ve marched through thousand dirty fields

Always fighting for a pointless cause

Human limbs and weapons

Lie scattered on the ground

Deprived from the last breath

Now we face the truth

There is no mercy - there’s no forgiveness

We despise each other - We kill for a pointless cause

Pure fury fills our tormented hearts

And our faces greasy with blood and tears

Wandering the ruins for survivors

To finish what once begun

Soon all hope will die

Or later death will be the only thing to face

Terror and destruction give us sense of life

But we’ve washed our hands in blood and tears

One day this war will end

And no one will be left alive
