Steadfast as the mountain
Through all the winters of the world
I am earth, soil and stone
Unfettered amidst the gathering dark
Roots wrapped in bone
Flesh and earth entwined
Long forgotten tomes
Old blood enshrined
Breaming through the breaking morn
Of meadows green and ancient wisdom lost
In silence a far and fading reverie
Of mighty oaks and weeping boughs of thorn
Twin pyres light the path before me
And I'll never be led astray
We are untamed, our should with one desire
Our eyes ablaze with the fire of belief
