The Cave Lyrics

Under the world that withered away

Lie paintings so ancient, no one claims to know their source

These pictures so grotesque - mind behind barely could be human

Since the day I beheld you

My God stood right before me

And envailed my mind with it's skeletal embrace

Alas! - The light of day

Is not what I crave anymore

I revel in the sound of voices that drag me down

Below the earth

Ever more deep

Below the earth

Through the ridges steep

To relinquish threats

I could read the Ancient works

With blood and shit and spit

Iconographs I made

Blasphemous or holy

You wouldn't understand

The time was ripe

For us day and night

To utter the primal cry

Cry of allegience

Below the earth

Where nightmares creep

Below the earth

Bloodstained soil tastes so sweet

On that viscious super Moon

I conjured my Schizofrenic spells

And danced along the savage shadows

Of distant lost dimensions

Until I defecated prophecy

Into the mouth of my disfigured child
