Old World Dragon Lyrics

Emerge ruffled dragon submerged in the streams

Skin as deep as water soaked beyond the sea

As brown as the soil from whence our sorrows breed

Creep from your murky abyss

Swallow the sun, open the sky, call forth the rain

Please dripping dragon walk these lands again

Emerging dragon! King of water!

A royal procession of aqueous beings slither and wriggle over this land

Bugs, snakes and lizards form a great steed

Wander great dragon follow their lead!

Silent the march stops out of the stream

Clouds gather tightly teasing storms from a dream

When out from the water a five fingered hand claws through the dirt and breaches the sand

At once it begins slow at the start

But quickly gains strength as the sky tears apart

And the dragons procession continues to march

Bring with your fertile fruit bearing seeds

Bring forth a harvest through winter we’ll feast
