Lately, it does seem that I've been falling

The season, it is here

When God is calling

The eyes of the people

It has no life

This generation should've never been born at all

This loneliness is shattering

The world's gone cold

For power, prestige and gold

They've sold their souls

I'm staring into the abyss and it stares right back

I am mobilizing for its attack

The days of Noah, came back so fast

Will I survive this?

Will I last?

Our lives are shattered due to a distant war

But in my minds horizon, there's an open door

Pictures of broken planets, and life long gone

How can I change this universe from what it did wrong?

Through this valley of life and death

Where corruption of all souls fills their every breath

I must go to the mountains to be alone

To wait out the time until the battle's done

So I am writing to you

My last farewell

No longer can I stay

You've chosen hell

Christ comes to slay all that lives a lie

Then why are you so cocky and in denial?

Who knows the spirit of man that goes upward?

And the spirit of the beast that goes down into the earth?
