Why do I see and hear?

Roots are swirling

They tell me what they hear

Woken to see madness grow

Soon they will feed fear, odd smiles, and eyes

Condemned to breathe the air that wrings

Peeling all thoughts off

It might still hide under the skin

I must see if the thoughts are concealed there

Must see closer

Rebirth of a scream cuts the high

Hearing voices of the screaming tides

These trees feed me fear

They breed thoughts

Calling a name that is long-lost

The divine before us

Staring us back again

Free entwined minds seeking for rebirth

Allow me to soar high

Blighted cries float around the treetops
