Thinking there is no resolution that'd give your grievin' even pause

You split yourself in two, now the dead half is nothing new

It is funny how they bash you, deflecting fatal flaws

They only preach to you so they can convince themselves it's true

I've seen it's always been this draining tangled riddle

While sitting in the dark and knowing it must be simple

Scrawling on the wall the days my sanity has dwindled

Hacking in the corner and waiting for dismissal

Have you altogether given up, never righting your own wrongs

Cause I think that's what they want, where they pray that you belong

What you got right now, gorge it as you would a Hellhound

Clenching nerves, loaded threats try like hell to rip you all to shreds

But then there's the silver lining when you're already mostly dead

Look at what gets around, how it was provided pound for pound

Yeah, I tend to think that everything I hear is inane worthless babble

Cause whatever's quite so solid doesn't need to fucking ramble

Didn't ask you tell me how'd you do it starting at the middle

So if they keep on pushing tell 'em shove it up your skin-hole

These things that they say just don't resonate
