Revelation of mistakes

To leave behind the human race

Though the flaws of the herd are great

Potential in those who are drawn away

Cannot go on all alone

Companions I must not disown

For my hubris I must atone

Revaluating values is a worthy aspiration

But in others I may find some worthy inspiration

Pride is surely not a sin but in excess can be a hindrance

The values I have found are mine, to others the truth may be different
