Deep within the forest of north

From the ground the Nordith sprung forth

Taking shelter high in the trees

To bring your death to the ground he will leap

The Nordith hunts by the moonlight

Deep within the darkest of night

Did you see him in the trees?

Or have you smoked too much weed?

We went exploring deep in the woods

Smoked some pot and drank some booze

When I got fucked up, what did I see?

The Nordith coming after me!

When he spoke I could not hear his words

But from them came a vicious curse

In flames my friends were immersed

And from the sky came an army of birds

The swarm carried me into the clouds

Where Viking ships in the sky sailed proud

On a giant bird the Nordith did ride

Leader of the pirates of the northern sky

The Nordith spoke again to me

This time in mortal tongue he did speak

He said repeat not what you witnessed here

And with a wave of his hand I fell through midair

For what seemed like eternity

I fell from the sky far above the trees

Then I awakened from a deep dark sleep

Back at the pub, back by the sea

I still don't know what happened that night

I know it gave me quite a fright

My friends are as alive as can be

Yet still of Nordith none dare speak
