Absent, vacant, omnipresent

A vessel of thought, a scattering of remnants

Cast downward into the sea of infinity

Symbiotic with the cosmic symphony

Forever transcending, never ascending,

At one with the crawl of time

Through the hourglass I see, as the sands of time accompany me.

Not even the divinity of death, shall take my breath,

As i walk hand on hand with infinity.

Echoes of the eons past, pass before me.

Monoliths of mortality fall beneath me.

Men rise to gods and cease to be

Altars cast in stone crumble before me

Watcher at the end of time, overseer of the grand decline

Shadows of forsaken gods hide amid me

Fates of the ills of man, cast upon me

Spears of longinous, thrust before me

Abysmal thoughts converging on me

Staff of ebony, spear of destiny, release me

My kingdom of fallen stars,

Where no light dwells,

Where even the flow of time stops

I, the watcher, bound

To the unfazed crawl of time

Where past and present coincide,

In syncronized suicide.

Towards the end that never comes,

I stare swallowed whole by despair.

Evoking twilight to bring a close,
