The Earth will be reclaimed,

not by fire, but by the rain.

All things in time will flow,

back to the place from which they came

Concrete, tar, glass, and steel,

their strength erodes and they will kneel,

long after man has gone from Earth,

to ancient forces here from the birth

Man will become the Earth

Every building ever loved

and every love that had a name,

in time will turn to soil,

that starving life, will then reclaim

And after the last memory

has been lost to time and death

life on Earth continues

and breaths another breath

Man will become the Earth

His death will bring the rebirth

The wind will sing, no requiem for man
