Gazing off into the swollen seas There is an air of undying mystery The light burns upon the windswept shores An unconscious urge calls me forward A ship appears on the horizon Its alabaster hull meets my sight This ethereal vessel Is drawn shoreward by my light Coming ever closer now The beacon now glows bright Riding on the full moon’s beam We sail on into the night Ahead I seek life’s greatest wonders Found in abstract fantasy Following a celestial guide In search of perfect reality We travel to many unfamiliar lands Spanning aeons of time The land of pleasures unattained Gleaming, yet reeking of plague A brilliant legend reaches my ears Of a land of hope Beyond two basalt pillars Lies Cathuria I beg the captain to voyage there Cathuria etched in my mind Following our celestial guide The white stone pillars we find Passing through, no land in sight The horizon ends too soon The White Ship escapes the edge of the world Cascading endlessly into doom Once I sought life’s greatest wonders Found in abstract fantasy Following selfish desire Plunging into insanity
