Woodland One Lyrics

When creation falls to chaos, one path remains

Return to the wild

Into the storm, seeking escape

Swallowed whole, the wood is deep

Blood of the wild, flows fast and pure

Noble, unmerciful, boundless

Wending the ways of myriad paths

Drawn by an unearthly aura

Firelight glowing betwixt the trees

Marks the shores of enlightenment

Down from the hills, descent into fog

And there 'neath the fall, it dwells in the shade

O' wise woodland one

Master of consciousness, ruler of the eye

Passage bestowed, journey to infinity

Only one can travel here, only one can see

Shut out all the world

None other shall know, none other shall bathe in the light

At home by the river, in the valley of mist

Days spent in reverie, under sun, moon, and star

Conversing with the elder one, seated upon it's granite throne

Spirit-possessed, bound for the peak to the north

Wind howls across the trackless expanse

Spurred by the gods and a whisper from the dark

Gazing down upon the land from high

Aspect evolved, sight granted through the eye

Shattered perceptions, origin lost to time

Tower rises, a seat to rule the realm

Forge burns bright, consuming all

Donning armour of cognizance

Wielding the blade of verity

Step out into the new world
