Over the hills so green

And enchanted by moonlight

Between the ruins and stones

Shines a fire so bright

Go there along the path

And guess what you will find

It's my heart, yes, I ripped it out

His hand that took me out

Out of darkness, out of pain

Away from the blindness

Away from my cave

Where I'd been kept for so long

I'd waited for him there

To release me from mine

Over the hills he sent

His breath that iced all green

It was crawling all over the land

'Til it reached my feet

Then deep in the night he fought

Against the shadows haunting me

And then, yes, he took my heart

And healed it slightly

His presence covered the rain

In my breast

That almost tore me in two

My only defender

My hold that I gain is he

Out of nowhere, out of the doom

From where despair sends its gloom

I set sails into this green land

To take her by the hand

To know my name

I travel alone amongst time
