Forgotten Not the Natural Splendour Lyrics

I stand here in the forest-encircled field

Unto the shining moon my eyes do yield

The glowing silver orb has escaped the rolling clouds

The eyes of the gods stare down all around

The cool summer breeze caresses my face

As the images of Ancient Gods enchant my thought My mind overcome by the Elder race

Dark mentors by which modern deities are wrought

Fascination with tradition - Liberation from Perdition Pagan rituals do suffice - The aura of the moonlit night

Forgotten not the natural splendour

In waves of Void I am pulled under

The clouds slowly journey across the sky

Like the mythical entities, they will not die

The visions I see are of the past

To gaze at the stars and ponder so vast

To live in the days of wisdom and wonder

Surpass time and space to witness the thunder

The forks of light lacerate the sky

Distant deities of man prevail

Peregrination of antediluvian tribes

Discovery of the Forces they hail

Enlightened by mystery

Shrouded in History

Engraved in age-old liturgy

Worship natural purity

(solo)

I stand here in this open field

Unto the shining moon I yield

At one with darkness I embrace

The void between time and space

The scent of pine is in the air

Dark forest speaks to me

Whispers ride the wind so fair

And speak complacency......
