The drowning seas of humanity
Colour me in mock humility
Scathing scars bear the affliction
Cast out upon the barren wastes
Labour for breath among fetid decay
That chokes my ice pierced heart
Within wretched despair writhe
As a feeble fly enshared
Waiting for the feeding cancer
Of ice twisted agony
In this paralysed emotion
That sustains on the solitude
Walls constructed by my fate
Begin their suffocation on me
No respite in this self styled isolation
The pain of years a burdening grief
Shadows of such sorrow beckon me
To the greeting of my life's end
