As daylight fades and the shadows grow longer

In the burning embers I see past, present and future

The dancing flames go higher and higher

At the break of day banners will rise and smoke will fill the sky

Dark clouds blacken the horizon and freezing winds blow

Still in the darkness we gather eagerly awaiting the dawn

As I gaze into the fire I remember the freezing nights and the warmest days

Shall death embrace me on this day or the next

For what tomorrow brings will be decided in blood

The dancing flames rise higher and touch the sky

The fire rising paints the bloodred sky as worlds collide at the break of dawn

Forged in fire and baptised in steel

In the burning embers I see the truth revealed

As millennia before and after this day tomorrow a new day will dawn
