Winter of my sorrow

Season of decay

Grieving for my failure

Only Im to blame

I shall mourn forever

Forever I shall weep

My guilt, it lies within me

Hidden, buried deep

Behind the veil of delusion

Past the willow's grasp

Weeping haze of confusion

With me till the last

Autumn, age of harvest

When your dreams and hopes shall bloom

Thunder cracks the silence

Like a messenger of doom

Soon the wind grows still

And the air grows cold and grey

The moon defeats the sun

Shortening the day

Withering, it shall die

Covered in a blistering fury

Wrath comes from the sky

Empty storm, a lonely white

Descends upon the land

Vast solitude sorrounds me

And it will kill me if it can

Wisping through defeated trees

Menacing, the chilling breeze

The screams of spring, forgotten now

As winter thrives, no life's around

I gaze up to the somber clouds

The sun is vanquished, cannot be found

Falling to my snowy grave

Knowing I shall not be saved
