It was the god

who asked the flowers to grow

coaxed one from a seed

and carefully pulled

Each leaf from the stem

and gathered at the top

red colored petals

begging the eye to open

Now it can see

and the flower asks

the god to further grow

and leave the dirt behind

The voice of the flower

attracts only bugs

and its roots deepen

into the earth
