Malodorous fumes, rising from feculent soil,
Through the cracks, through the fissures,
The tortured ground exhales the essence of all things dead.
In the nebulous air, bare trees stare in solemn grace,
Ever watching the intruder lost in the hostile fog.
Breathe in! Devour the strangest air!
Breath the fires of rot! Behold those fell candles!
Nausea, a sudden shifting of consciousness.
More cracks in the fissures, the fibres of reality.
Those fell lights shine through, mercyless,
Through the cracks, through the fissures, indifferent,
Blasting the mind with visions of otherness -
A multiverse of death and death again!
Revelations of pain and suffering!
All things dies. All things stop breathing.
All things breathe again,
Then to be breathed by you.
Behold those fell candles! Deathlights one and all!
Fumes of the beyond!
Will you ever dare to breathe again?
