In the pale blue light
Of the rising moon
Prominent in the night sky
Mountains of ice come alive
And move toward realms below
To reclaim the bitter wastelands
Ravens perch atop dead trees
Clouds and lightning in the distance
Funeral bells and the ravens’ call
Signal the return of the winter frost
From Northern mountains
Come floods of icy black
The dark midnight sky opens wide
On winds of doom death’s angels fly
Surrounded by dismal moonfog
The sun is frozen, never to rise
As black storms from the North
Freeze the world in eternal winter
