The Leviathan Lyrics

Come closer children, listen if you please

Gather 'round the fire, let the darkness cease

You all know the tales, of ancient Greece

Of brave Ulysess, and the golden fleece

But a grander tale, yet told the least

Is of Lucian inside, the belly

The belly of the beast

We sailed for four days and four nights

But then, the wind died away

And we lost the light of day

We were stranded hundred miles from shore

But we had no idea, what there was in store

Then came the Leviathan

Stretching from horizon to the horizon

Enormous, two hundred miles or more

Slowly it came from the south

Opening its cavernous mouth

And it swallowed our ship whole

Come closer children, listen if you please

Gather 'round the fire, let the darkness cease

You all know the tales, of ancient Greece

Of brave Ulysess, and the golden fleece

But a grander tale, yet told the least

Is of Lucian inside, the belly

The belly of the beast

Come closer children, listen if you please

Gather 'round the fire, let the darkness cease

You all know the tales, of ancient Greece

Of brave Ulysess, and the golden fleece

But a grander tale, yet told the least

Is of Lucian inside, the belly

The belly of the beast
