Ultuulla, Zikru, Sagkal Lyrics

In a never-ending race with time,

this race I've lost before its dawn

The colours of persistence are running pale

Dimming the sunshine of the spotless thought

Driven by inertia I found myself

on the path I've longed

a destination once craved, but now forgotten

Momentum deprives me

of my ability

to observe my surroundings,

to enjoy the outer world

And everything is and was

so beautiful, colorful, warm

But now all is a palette blurred and mashed

and the contrast of colours I am unable to grasp

Ultuulla, Zikru, Sagkal

Still I've burned once already

and I'm fearless before your hell

I shall consume your vital fire, next your ashes

I enclose with stones the circle of eternal fire

Wrapped in static I am numbed in this endless stream of time

I sense the stone's cold embrace

But yet this stone I've seen already

It shines exposed to sunlight and under moonlight it screams

It screams voiceless, it deafens, synchronously it chants

it whispers and it speaks

And reminds me with its speech

timelessness to summon

Timelessness emitting time

But also reason it demands

in order to explain

And I witness how the seed of Oak

is growing in seconds

seconds lasting longer than years, condensed in a moment,

stretching through the ages

I entreat to find this window

while the window for the eyes is sealed

But it's revealed before wisdom, knowledge and will

through it the truth of moonlight sees

If only I could take a glimpse in time that is to come

To see where my path leads and where I will take the fall

Whether I will rise and press on

But the mighty Owl of wisdom awakes in the crown of the Ancient Oak

And its spread wings shall veil the light empowered by the sun

And its massive wings of justice give me back my sight

And I see the window shatter between the Owl of wisdom and myself

And towards the sunset the Owl is fading

Sunset in a sky pierced by the light of stars
