For the glorious sun
A great temple city was raised
To home his warmth
And spread his light
Harness and bask in his glory
To the ancient forest they dwelt
To their forefathers home
Onto primeval land
No blood's ever spilled
They enslaved the tribes
And slew the men
Glory to the sun
A lifetime they worked
Their offspring were born
Children grew old
Temple remained unbuilt
Pled their distant kin
When they refused
They brought them holy war
Blood has soiled the sacred ground
High as mountains
Statues rose
Hail the sun
Hail our god
