Steel prison
Acrid black death
Expanding to infinity
Shrinking to nothing
Destruction of self
Hopelessness
A blazing hot July day in Somerset Park
Sat on a park bench surrounded by vibrant spirits
But on the inside a frozen landscape
My eyes filtered out their light
Leaving behind a strange greyness
I'm not sure howl ong I'd been sitting there
Honestly I didn't know how to leave
With a sigh I resigned myself to the circumstances
When all that was left standing fell
Not a single soul was there
