I step beyond the mirror
Where light twists into silence
Where echoes wear faces
I once called my own.
The roots pulse beneath me
Whispering names long forgotten
Names I have yet to become
Each step peels me open
Layers of reason unravel like dying stars
The air is thick with voices
Honeyed with deception
Sweet with the rot of hidden truths
Through the Shadowed tree
I break, and I am lifted
I dissolve and I am made whole
The horrors, they embrace me
Their hands cold, their touch sacred
And when I reach the threshold
When the last veil falls
I dont know if I am free
Or have I only just begun
Yet in the abyss
A melody calls
A song woven from ruin
From things that should not be
