As the day grows long ,And my form withers I grow ever forlorn, As my sun sets A darkness stalks me, it grows taller by day In truth it's my burden, my heavy stone I bear It follows , it lingers and curses Pasts cling to me like thorns It torments , it binds and tightens In time ill decay in it's grasp I pray to gods which neglect I turn to ones who reject I suffer in a deafening silence I've grown weary of a pain I cannot shed
