I awake in an orb of flesh

Ensconced completely

Made up of enzymes and molecules

For nutrients to flow

Pumped full

Until my shell cracks

This fecal yolk bursts

Clutching at embryo

i fall below

Contact with this atmosphere burns my skin

Still so fragile and tender after submersion

My muscles spasm in torment

My mind fixates on the pain

FIXATE

It jolts me wide awake

Eventually my umbilical snaps

Free falling through barren corridors of the unimaginable
