Art Music Group proudly presents one of the strongest black-metal bands from Russia - Demons Of Guillotine! Russian roots, Norway influence and world-class quality of production makes them an awesome and unique act, must for each true black-metal fan.

The band was formed in 1997 by ex-members of Mor, Thron and Orthang. Their first demo-tape found a huge success on Russian metal-scene and leaded them to the first album. Next year Demons Of Guillotine was chosen as support act for Cradle of Filth, Impaled Nazarene and Children of Bodom.

In 1999 Demons Of Guillotine went to St. Petersburg with their horror shock-rock shows. Flows of fire and blood, grinding chainsaws and other elements of show were included in their set making gigs of Demons Of Guillotine successful and forever unforgettable.

In 2001 the band met one of the most famous Russian keyborder A.Dronov and recorded album "Sweet Rosmary" which represented crashing horror metal with elements of punk, glam and black metal. Their lyrics were shocking, bizarre and bloody. The reaction in press was very positive, but unfortunately because of poor promotion the sales went rather unsuccessfull..

Anyway the band continued to grow up as musicians and songwriters. In January 2002 they were invited to support Moonspell on their Moscow gig. Demons brought 3 tracks with equipment, but just 2 hours before the show Russian promoters suddenly denied stage access for Demons without any explanations. Furious by this fact Zodiak - the well known by his wild character frontman of DoG, caused debauchery ended by clash with police which ended dramatically..

In February 2002 Demons of Guillotine made promo video on "Eternal Slavement" song. Because of a number of violent scenes the video was banned on MTV-Russia.

In March 2003 DoG decided to stop glam-electronic experiments with sound and returned to their roots - melodic, but wild black metal. In "Navaho Hut" studio they recorded prooved by time during their live shows killers "Your Name" or "Adonai" along with 10 other songs. In October 2004 Art Music Group signed record deal with Demons of Guillotine and released their new album "Beastiary". Soul-freezing as Scandinavian frosts screams by Zodiac left no chances to enemies in the eternal battle for the black kingdom of Bestiary. Fast double bass by Krock and speedy guitars by Proteus along with demonic make up of bandmembers gives eternal power and majesty to Demons of Guillotine, unleashing the band beyond the realms of deadly BLACK METAL WORLD.
