From far within the icy depths of Poland arise the leaders of the new generation...harbingers of rage, brutality, and death.

Earache and Wicked World are proud to announce the arrival of Decapitated. Direct from Poland, the world's youngest death metal warriors prepare to lead the new generation into battle.

All formally trained musicians, these teenage messiahs have been delivering their ferociously technical, brutally energetic death for the last four years. In June 1997, with their drummer at the ripe age of 12, the band recorded their debut demo, Cemetereal Gardens, a strong debut influenced heavily by fellow countryment, Vader. They committed their next recording a year and a half later. Entitled The Eye Of Horus, the tape featured four new tracks plus a cover of Slayer's 'Mandatory Suicide.' Eventually this recording secured the band a contract with Massive Management whose roster includes such bands as Vader, The Moon, Tower and Yattering. In April 1999, Decaptitated entered the studio to record their debut album. Entitled Winds Of Creation, it was produced by Peter of Vader, and graphically designed by Vader's favorite cover artist, Jacek Wisniewski. Wicked World/ Earache Records proudly signed the band.
