Lokyata Bio

Rising from the fertile hardcore/metal scene of Jacksonville Florida in late 2003, Lokyata belt out 6 tracks of furious metal combined with disturbingly brutal breakdowns in their debut MCD “Purified by Anger”. Having spent the last 6 months touring the nation and drawing comparisons to such acts as Unearth, Converge, and Lamb of God the band entered Earthsound Studios (Evergreen Terrace, From First to Last) and left with a record that captures both the danger and urgency of their live performance.
