From Israel, 7% Mind Usage formed in 2001. Idan Epshtein and Tal Baltuch, two musicians with well established reputations in the underground scene in Israel were looking for a rythm section and found Ran Elihou, a heavy and dynamic drummer perfect for the job. The search for a bassist ended quickly when Ran brought Assa Raviv in to the fold from his previous project.

Four months had passed and the band went into the studio to record their 201 self titled demo. The demo sold quickly through repition of play at clubs. The band stopped further production of the demo for they declared it did not reflect their musical style anymore.

In 2002 the band recorded the song "At Least Your Eyes Tell The Truth" which was the start of their new musical approach. In 2004 the band recorded another demo and filmed a video for the song "Weapon of Choice". In 2005 the band recorded their 7 song EP which was produced by Jamie King. The band continues to gain support from around the world and are quickly making ground. Their sound consists of heavy metal, jazz, surf rock, shredding riffs, uncomprosing vocals, and the skillful approach of technical and emotional aggression that the band is becoming known for.
