A mystifying presence with six unique faces, personalities and musical flavors, Mr Plow intermingles its identities into one funkdefied, phat-rapping phenomenon. Born in late spring of 1998 and named after the member's favorite Simpson's episode, Mr Plow weighs in at well over 1,500 pounds boasting "James Bond" skills and "funkblasto" fills. The band got it's start with humble beginnings when members Dan "D-Minus" Fjelland, Nick "Mr 2" Pearson, and Sam "Mr 3" Johnson all acquired jobs as freshmen in high school at fast food joint Taco Time. Friends through high school, the trio shared same musical interests but never considered forming a band. Just before graduation, guitarist Paul Thacker began having jam sessions in his basement with fro-sporting, pimp-mobile driving drummer Ubong Stowe. Soon joining in the basement sessions was guitarist/bassist Ben Harrelson. Fjelland, Pearson, and Johnson would soon join the sessions with Fjelland and Pearson on vocals while Johnson tackled the bass and vocals. For a brief period of time, the Plow crew was graced with the mystifying presence of vocalist Juan "Flo Dawg" Flotho who now acts as the bands executive producer (and waterboy) on the groups debut album "Funkblasto." The album showcases the group's diverse musical influences, while keeping true to its roots. Although primarily a rock influenced rap ensemble, Plow still finds time to collide hip hop with hardcore, and funkadelics with snowboardaholics. Peace.
