Faceless, The Bio

The Faceless is a progressive death metal band from Los Angeles, California. Formed by guitarist, Michael Keene and bassist, Brandon Giffin, The band exists to try and push the limits of what can be done in the genre of metal. Offering listeners a spectrum ranging from crushing brutality to progressive beauty and complexity.

The band released there debut album "Akeldama" on November 14th, 2006 which was recorded and produced by guitarist Michael Keene, through Sumerian Records. Since it's release, The Faceless have hit the road in its support with bands such as Necrophagist, All Shall Perish, and Arsis. The band takes influence from a broad spectrum of musicians and groups such as Spawn of Possession, Allan Holdsworth, Dying Fetus, Frederik Thordendal's Special Defects, and Cynic.

The Faceless have played and/or toured with talented acts such as: Necrophagist, Dying Fetus, Napalm Death, Cephalic Carnage, Vital Remains, Unearth, Impaled, Skinless, Through the Eyes of the Dead, A Life Once Lost, Animosity, Arsis, Dead To Fall, Misery Signals, The Number 12 Looks Like You, Neuraxis, Job For A Cowboy, All Shall Perish, Unmerciful, and many more.
