FATIMA HILL is a technically minded Sapporo based Metal band fronted by female singer Yuko. The group was created in September of 1992 by guitarist Anjue Yamashiro. FATIMA HILL's debut was a three song 1993 cassette entitled 'Ring And Queen'. Further tapes followed in 'Ikaros', 'Beatrice', featuring new bassist Hideki Kato, and 'Invitation To Valhalla'. Hayato Asano of SHALLOW FIELD, INSEMINOID and SEA BAT assumed the bass position but Yuko opted out in December of 1994. Nevertheless, alongside fellow Nagoya bands HIDDEN, GARDIAN'S NAIL and VOLFEED, the group contributed two tracks in 1995 to a local compilation album 'Melodical Renaissance'.
Yuko made a return in 1997 and a self financed debut album 'Valhalla' surfaced the following September. FATIMA HILL scored a track inclusion on the German Rock Hard 'Unerhort' cover mount CD, which raised the band's profile in Europe considerably. However, in August of that year Takashi Yamauchi resigned and Ryo Kaneuchi duly filled the vacancy.
Yuko guested in the studio on the MANIPULATED SLAVES album 'The Legendary Black Jade'.
