Engaged in 1999, Dissonant started as a cover/fun band, doing metallica covers
and writing instrumental music.
After a short while, Dissonant started performing with the following line up :

Nativ Kedem - Bass Guitar
Daniel Zohar - Guitars
Yonni Bar Ilan - Guitars & Vocals
Erez Bitton - Drums

The following year, a major change had occurred.
Snoof, has taken the lead singer spot, showing amazing ability in growls and clean singing as well.
Erez was replaced by Dor Karter, who brought death metal influence to an already definite, extreme band.
It has seemed like the fifth shaped madness was completed.

Dissonant was not once described as a heavy textured mix of technique, groove and power.
Each Dissonant member has different and vary influences.
This, along with the fact that Dissonant's music is written and composed by all members of the band,
makes their music very unique.

As time passed by, Dissonant's music has taken a very strong visual aspect.
With an almost demented show, Dissonant are practically showing their music on stage.

Bursting forward with their latest release, "In The Name of GOD", the path for outside recognition
is soon to be erupting.
These days, Dissonant are preparing their music for a studio recording and proceeds with full power ahead,
to let the madness come to people outside of Israel.

"Music is the essence, and although humanity is down,
we won't fall to our graves in shiver.
Instead we will do our best, to make the norm startle,
smash the already mowed, to erase the banal.
We will challenge ourselves, our listeners,
and shake the foundations of music itself if we'll have to,
because essence is life and boredom is the abyss." - DISSONANT
