Created from necessity, HTD was brewed in September of 1999. Five friends, best of friends, came together after a drunken conversation to "bring back the band". The ingredients of HTD stem back to early high school dayz when the 3 founding members of HTD (Todd Kight, Scott Knight and Tim Welsh) were known as Corruption. Corruption's life was short lived but the foundation and bonds created were not. They had no idea that years later they would reform with two additional long time friends to complete the circle and renew the passion. Joe Skidmore was the first to enter the new offering. As for the singer, enter Scott Berry. Scott approached the band in a garage back in early September of 1999 with mic in hand. Scott brought with him the passion and desire that helped to cement the structure of what was yet to come. With singer in hand, the circle was complete. HTD started finishing song after song and quickly adopted the Baltimore music scene as its home. HTD is family. HTD is passion. If each member ever had a place that they were meant to be, it was HTD. With a newborn passion and significantly more to lose, HTD took the Baltimore scene by storm. Friday June 30th, 2000, HTD's first performance was an opening slot at the Recher Theatre in Towson, Maryland. The response was so overwhelming that HTD returned one month later to headline that very same venue. Soon after, other well-known venues and artists were contacting HTD offering them headlining slots on prime nights. HTD's raw aggression and energy has been infectious with both concertgoers and club owners in the Baltimore area. HTD has continues to play a modest schedule and their name continues to precede them. Capturing their passion and aggression, HTD released their first full-length CD in August of 2001 which has been widely received and embraced by a growing fan base. Through full utilization of the Internet and its vast medium of resources, the self-titled CD has received praise from fans throughout the world. While staying true to their instincts, influences, history and roots, HTD's music has managed to appeal to the masses. Without compromise, HTD continues to deliver uninhibited rage and fury while seamlessly capturing the audience's desire for melody and composition.
