Guitarist Tony Vorrises and drummer Andrew Holzbaur founded HOSTILITY in 1996, writing their own music and developing their uniquely aggressive sound. 1998 brought the addition of vocalist Greg Haran and bassist Brandon Sigmund. With the line-up complete, their extreme brand of hard-hitting, in-your-face metal was ready for an audience. Playing any and every stage they could find, HOSTILITY's live show has always pushed the envelope to the extreme. Never missing a beat amidst the fray, their calculated aggression breeds chaos while the sheer adrenaline of their performance infects crowds like a plague. A HOSTILITY show will leave you pumped, impressed and always wanting more.

HOSTILITY had already completed two self-funded national tours by late 2003 when Century Media recording artists Skinlab invited them on a successful two-week tour of the Southwest. In 2004, HOSTILITY landed a prestigious opening slot on the Jagermeister Music Tour, playing with Slipknot, Fear Factory and Chimaira at Sacramento's Memorial Auditorium. HOSTILITY often performs with national acts such as Super Joint Ritual (featuring Phil Anselmo of Pantera), Machine Head, 36 Crazy Fists, Systematic, 40 Grit, Pressure 4-5, Pissing Razors, Death Angel, Metal Church, Deeds of Flesh, December, Unearth, High on Fire, Impaled, I.R.A.T.E., Brother's Keeper, Joey Belladonna, Hemlock, Vile and many others.

Even with their busy live schedule, HOSTILITY is always writing and recording new material. The band has recorded five independent releases, each more brutal than the last. Their aural assault pounds the body and mind like no other. HOSTILITY's latest and most blistering studio project was recorded and mixed by Kent Matcke (Metallica, Primus, Joe Satriani, Sammy Hagar, Voivod).

Through playing countless live shows and honing their craft in the studio, HOSTILITY has become a well-oiled machine. They continue to make a name for themselves as they pave their way to the top.
