Further Bio

James, Josh, and Colin have been writing and performing together since 1994 when they started their first band known as Ancient Chinese Secret. After a few years of moderate success, the boys decided they needed a change. They parted ways with their lead singer and recruited James' brother Kris as a second guitar player. Kris' former band, Day in the Life, recorded their debut album on TVT records and toured with bands like Sevendust , Soulfly, and Vision of Disorder. The search for a new frontman began. At the same time, vocalist Aaron Wilson (born in Hawaii and raised in Columbus, Ohio) had decided to come to NYC with the dream of starting the ultimate rock project. His previous band, 616 Undone, had been hailed the local heroes of Columbus as they would draw close to 1,000 screaming fans whenever they played the area. Aaron had been in New York for just under two months when he hooked up with the rest of the group through a mutual friend. The chemistry was immediately explosive and Further was born!!!



Since their formation in the Spring of 1999, Further have attracted the attention of several major record labels with their debut recording and dynamic live performances. They have been playing live in NYC clubs such as Limelight, CBGB'S, and Brownie's. Their song "Amazing Device" is in rotation on many college radio stations as well as on 92.3 K-Rock's The Buzz. Further plans on continuing to take the musical world by storm and secure their position as one of rock's best new artist's.
