Demonbreed Bio

Hailing from the South coast of England, DEMONBREED were formed in late 2003, and went through the usual line-up juggling routine. They quickly wrote some tracks, taking them out on the road, building a fearsome reputation, and picking up loyal fans throughout the UK.
The band spent the early part of 2004 putting together a truly awesome live set, which has to be seen to be believed. After only a handful of shows, local media were falling over themselves to find out more about DEMONBREED. Being likened to acts such as The Haunted and Atreyu, but with their own unique sound, the band were quickly winning many new friends and fans.

In early 2005 DEMONBREED then entered Philia Studios in Henley-on-Thames (Earthtone9, Stampin' Ground, The Hurt Process) to lay down the tracks that would become their debut album, 'Closer To God' with Nick Hemingway at the production helm (Cancer, Fony, Desecration). The band were then quickly snapped up by UK label Casket Music who will be releasing the album on the 10th October.

The band will be heading out on a full UK tour following the release, and bring with them the determination to put mayhem back into the dark arts of seriously Heavy Metal!
