It's not very often that a group of musicians can create a spark. Even more rare is when a group can take that spark and ignite a whole city ablaze. Forged from the ashes of Athens and Within A Dream, the group was formed. The group features Jake McCarty (Vocals), Luke Matsuk (Bass), Brett DeBone (Guitar), Kevin Brooks (Guitar), and John Cruz (Drums).With a desire and drive to create raw and energetic music Contra was born, and with life comes death. Contra strives to kill and destroy everything you ever thought you knew about hardcore and metal music.
