Distrust Bio

Distrust was formed in 1995 by Shawn Hutchins. As of spring 1998, the original Distrust band had broken up. Shawn kept the band name and sought out new members. Not long it was until Distrust surfaced as it was meant to be with its current line-up.



Distrust's first full-length CD 'No Good Deed Shall Go Unpunished' was released at the turn of the millenium. The band is currently gigging throughout the New England are and working on material for a second cd.



Distrust follows no trend. Nor is the band prejudice against different styles of metal-rap-hardcore-punk having played with acts ranging everywhere from Kind Diamond, Insane Clown Posse, Nile, Tree to Toxic Narchoatic and many others.



If I had to compare our band to say what it resembles, I would say it's like something familiar yet at the same time, like nothing that has ever been heard of before. But we'll let you decide that one for yourself.
