Four musicians of various metal backgrounds got together to form a band they could all be proud of. It would be HEAVY, LOUD, FAST, FUN, FURIOUS whatever they wanted it to be.



Within 6 months, CRUSH EFEKT put out the infamous "TWO DOLLAR TEN SONG FOUR TRACK DEMO". While the quality was less than savory, fans took in 1,000 copies greedily.



After gigging everywhere they could in Columbus and several other cities in Ohio, CRUSH EFEKT sought out new places and new bands to jam with. They have established a worthy fan base in Ohio while hitting Brockton MA, Charlotte NC, Huntsville AL, Philadelphia PA, and several places in West Virginia and even London, Ontario all in their faces.



CRUSH EFEKT have also opened up for such well know acts such as Testament, Coal Chamber, Machine Head, Cause for Alarm, Crowbar, Kreator, Acid Bath, Obituary, Shutdown and SOD.



In the midst of all this, CRUSH EFEKT recorded and released their debut CD entitled "REAL'. All 1,000 copies moved quickly. It contained 10 brand new songs with much better quality and more intensity. It was also a chance for the band to further push its own limitations.



While the band did go through a minor lineup change in early 1999, it proved to be no great loss. The current lineup of Chris, Jesse, Mike and Mark is as solid as their music and have recorded a fresh batch of music to unleash upon the world ...This will be called "ECLIPSED".



CRUSH EFEKT'S music and lyrics are based upon the diverse views of each band member in regards to life, feelings, emotions and past life experiences, etc... CRUSH EFEKT'S distinguishing quality is their determination not to follow trends, BUT TO SET THEM.



CRUSH EFEKT has always maintained a strict practice schedule which has been the primary reason for their tight live performance.



CRUSH EFEKT has been hard at work over the past 5 years and they are ready to gain the attention of everybody into heavy music. Impossible to place into any one category, their approach appeals to fans of thrash, hardcore, punk, death just about any other type of extreme music. Their self determination and confidence in the music they offer is proof enough of their dedication to their fans. Their ultimate goal is to make music their career.
