Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora enters treatment facility
Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora has entered a treatment facility in Los Angeles. The rocker was checked in on Wednesday, but no details (such as what he is being treated for) have been released.
Sambora, 47, has been in the news lately due to a divorce from his ex-wife Heather Locklear, and his breakup with girlfriend Denise Richards. His father also recently died.
"Richie Sambora has entered an undisclosed treatment facility in Los Angeles. He asks that you respect his and his family's privacy at this time," said the spokesman.
New Jersey's Bon Jovi have been a force in rock since the hair metal days of the 1980s and have a number of hit songs - including "You Give Love a Bad Name," "Bad Medicine," and "Livin' on a Prayer."
Proving just as popular now as in the 80s, Bon Jovi is set to release a new studio album 'Lost Highway,' on June 19th, and is set to begin a tour on June 24th in London. They are also scheduled to take part in the global Live Earth concerts.
